Outlook makes use of both text/calendar and also makes use of multipart/alternative.

Section 2.4 ("Content Type") currently says:

CUA can use language and other parameters to pick a "text/calendar"
part if a "multipart/alternative" MIME message contains more than one
   "text/calendar" part.

Is this a good idea?
Does any client do this already?
(Reference to the document describing the header field used for language is
missing, should be added)
