I voted "other" in the poll; I actually don't have one primary source, but two: NPR (on the radio) and the NYT (online). I find it interesting that you mentioned NPR, but didn't include it in the poll. An oversight?

You might just have missed the biggest category here - webmail that's provided by Google/MS/Yahoo etc. rather than ISPs. That's the box I'd have ticked if it was there (though I do still have a text client for backup).

I use Apple Mail (IMAP client) on my Mac and on my iPhone. At work, unfortunately I have to use Outlook. At least I no longer have to use Lotus Notes. :-)

Not that I don't appreciate the assumption that I must be included such an esteemed body of bearded hippies, but row 2, column 3 isn't me. If I had to guess, it's Elaine Richards, which would mean that isn't her in row 4, adding support for the Susan Graham hypothesis.

Also:

row 4, column 5 is Brian Holt, who I think now goes by Brian Hawthorne
row 8, column 8 is David Tilbrook.
row 3, column 9 might be Jeff Kellem
row 5, column 12 might be Greg Rose
